Paul N. Greico, DDS
Dr. Paul N. Greico obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Loyola University Chicago and graduated from Loyola University School of Dentistry, Cum Laude, in 1989, where he was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
After dental school, Dr. Greico practiced for a number of years with his family dentists, Dr. DelMonico and Dr. Trocchio in Elmwood Park, Illinois. He was also an associate of Dr. D’Amico in Elmwood Park. He then worked in Northwest Chicago for 7 years until finally opening his own practice, Dental Essence, in 2005. He has seen nothing but success there; over 3,000 patients (from even a few states away) now entrust him with their routine dental care. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society as well.
In the meantime, he married Maria. They have been married for over 24 years. He has three children; Nicholas, Carina, and Angelina, who all enjoy spending some of their free time working with him at the office. He loves being around family, friends, staff, and patients, reading, watching Chicago sports, coaching basketball, and traveling to new places.
Dr. Greico understands that maintaining good oral care, choosing your dentist, and keeping up with your appointments can be a truly daunting task, but he, along with the Dental Essence team, is dedicated, not only to making your smile better and brighter, but also to give you a reason to smile every time you come in.

Patrick Brambert, DDS
Dr. Patrick Brambert grew up in Bloomingdale, IL just five minutes away from Dental Essence. He attended Lake Park High School and went on to graduate from Elmhurst University, Summa Cum Laude, with a degree in Biology. During that time, he graduated as an honors program scholar and published his research on protein expression within breast cancer cells.
Afterward, Dr. Brambert attended the University of Iowa School of Dentistry where he graduated with a distinction in public health and published his research on tooth whitening and enamel erosion. He completed an externship at a special-needs clinic in Iowa and an additional externship on a Native American reservation in Cass Lake, Minnesota.
Following graduation, Dr. Brambert has practiced for several years in the Western Chicago suburbs. He is very excited to return to the neighborhood he grew up in and join the Dental Essence family. He currently lives in Winfield with his wife Jeanne, his son Jack, and their dog Nova.
Outside of private practice, Dr. Brambert also currently serves in the Army National Guard as a dentist. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. In addition, he also enjoys being an actor and improv comedian.

Jay Colucci, DDS
Dr. Colucci grew up in Carol Stream, where he attended Glenbard North High School. He then received a Bachelor of Science from Elmhurst University, where he studied Biology and minored in Spanish. He graduated from the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston before returning home to the Chicagoland suburbs.
As a middle child of 3, Dr. Colucci enjoys spending time with his family in addition to his girlfriend and their dog, Cooper. In his free time, he enjoys exercising at the gym, playing golf or slow-pitch softball, and gaming on his computer with friends.
“While I enjoy all aspects of dentistry, I particularly enjoy cosmetic dentistry. I understand that for many people, their smile is something they can be self conscious about. So, I do my best to ensure every patient feels comfortable asking questions and discussing what they’d like to change about their smile. By the end of treatment, I strive to give all my patients a smile they are proud to show off to the world.”
Nicholas P. Greico, DMD
As the son of Dr. Paul Greico, Dr. Nick Greico has dedicated the majority of his life to advancing his knowledge and expertise in the dental field. Starting his journey here at Dental Essence, he has held various roles including receptionist, assistant, and hygienist. These experiences have given him a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the dental office and a deep concern for the well-being of his patients.
Dr. Greico earned a bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago and a Dental Hygiene degree from the College of DuPage in 2018, where he received an award for exceptional community service. He excelled in his education at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, graduating in 2024 with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He received the prestigious Dr. Adalbert L. Vlazny Award for excellence in operative dentistry and clinical skills, as well as the Dr. Leslie J. Braun Jr. Award for excellence in diagnosis and treatment planning in operative dentistry.
Dr. Greico’s professional journey has been diverse and enriching. He has treated patients at the UIC Dental Clinic, the Jesse Brown VA Hospital Dental Clinic, and the Cook County Dental Clinic at Stroger Hospital. Additionally, he participated in a dental brigade in Honduras, aiding in the treatment of hundreds of underserved citizens. His passion spans cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
Beyond dentistry, Dr. Greico enjoys cooking, writing, metalwork, music playing, video editing, traveling, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family, most importantly his wife Shannon and daughter Anna.
